Bill Cunningham is the fashion street photographer that’s been capturing and influencing New York’s style since the 1960s. For long-time readers of the New York Times, his column of fashion images will be very familiar. But the man behind the camera is much more elusive. Until now. On release in the US, Canada and Australia, the UK hotly awaits this award winning film about the life of Bill through the eyes of film maker Richard Press. Cycle Chic cannot wait for this film to show in Cardiff, and we’ll be doing our best to get a showing at Chapter. As you’ll see Bill is a true renegade, and uses his trusty bicycle to navigate the streets of New York. What better way to do street photography (well Cycle Chic would say that).

wow, that looks like a great film, has it been released in the UK yet ?
Apparently not. We must get this film in Cardiff however as a UK tour is planned. Thinking of drinks around the viewing if we can get it at Chapter. I’m phoning Chapter on Monday about this. Cheers!
