Busy week ahead!

Monday night sees the premier of Bill Cunningham New York in Cardiff – Wales’ only showing at Chapter this week. There are non-guest tickets still available, but please check just in case they’ve gone between now and the show. Cardiff Cycle Chic’s photographs will be featuring on the big screen before the event starts, so if you’ve been photographed, there’s a chance you’ll be on the screen yourself! If you like fashion, photography, documentaries and/ or bicycles, you’ll love this film. Film runs to Thursday.

We’re also pleased to announce that on Sunday 1st April, there will be more tweed and vintage inspired group cycling. Organised by The Pedal Cafe, who kindly stepped in to organise this event (as Cardiff Cycle Chic had too much on our plate), the ride is part of the Made in Spring’s arts weekend in Roath. We’ll be there taking the photographs and sporting our usual sartorial style. We hope you can come too. The ride ends at the Milkwood Gallery in Roath, where tea and cakes, we believe, will be on offer…Yum! Ride starts at the spiritual home of tweed and vintage riding in Cardiff, the National Museum steps.

  1. My bike is in bits at the moment, 2/3rds of the way through a complete rebuild.
Will it be done ready for this event on Sunday?
    Certainly hope so.
Will it still be summer next weekend?
    Of course it will.

Hiya, I have reposted this on the 30 Days of Biking UK Facebook page.
30 Days of Biking starts April 1st so this would fit perfectly :)

(in case you’re wondering – 30 Days of Biking basically means you pledge to ride your bike every day in April – More than 1800 people across the globe have already registered!)
