Martin rides in the sunshine…

Martin

Martin, riding a sleek and simple fixed wheel bicycle, just shows how well dressed and casual guys can be on a bicycle. In shades, black polo and jeans, Martin has gone for Italian suede loafers as his cycle shoe of choice. And for even that alone, Martin gets five cycle chic stars…Bravo!

Laura

Laura

Laura works for the Welsh National Opera and rides about town on her much loved bicycle (with ‘girly’ panniers, as she describes them). Laura’s really enthusiastic about cycling, having lived in the Netherlands, and has a great look. Happy days!

Laura

This isn’t the first time we’ve caught up with Laura as she rides to work, summer and winter alike. This time, wrapped in a warm sheepskin coat and matching knitted hat, Laura looks great regardless of the freezing weather. Go Laura!

Kitty Cowell, fixies and rappin’ down the Bay

Cycle Chic was surprised to discover this music video featuring Cardiff’s own Kitty Cowell rappin’ and riding a fixie, and falling off (!) down the Bay. Also featuring MK from FLOWDEM. Video: Tim Fok

That’s it folks. Last Harris Hogmanay portraits…

So we reached our destination, a cafe that’s a converted Norwegian church in Cardiff Bay, for coffee, cake and a bit of 1930s music and dancing (particularly the children!). Happy memories. See you all again in the Spring!
