  • Celebrating Cycling Chic…

Serving you a fairly frequent slice of cycle chic from Cardiff. With more and more cyclists on the road, it's time we took back cycling as an elegant urban transport mode. No more grimy clothes, let's celebrate the more fashionable, exuberant and sartorial side of our inner being.

Matheus

Matheus

Matheus was sitting almost buddhist-like and savouring his tea when we caught up with him one early evening. Sitting there with his trusty bicycle and listening to a nearby busker playing his soulful guitar, the Spanish Matheus was totally content being an audience of one…

Childhood…

Here’s a little video fresh off the press from the Hungarian Cyclists Club. The video’s been produced to support their ‘Bike to Work’ campaign. Their message is “Bike to work! – Revive the childhood happiness!”. We cannot argue with that…Enjoy!

Bicycles on the catwalk…

As we’re sure you know Paul Smith, the globally known fashion designer is well associated with cycling. In fact we’ve blogged about Paul before. SPIN London

SPIN London (3 – 5 May 2013) was the worlds’ first urban focused bicycle consumer show & festival. Based in East London, over 5000 people visited the event. George

George

Cardiff Cycle Chic met up with George outside the architecturally iconic Royal Welsh College for Music and Drama in Cardiff. Riding a reconditioned late 1950s, or perhaps early 1960s, Raleigh bicycle with white wall tyres and those short mudguard you don’t see anymore, George’s bicycle is perfect for comfortably pedalling around the city. Bravo!
